In the last two years since its founding in 2009, the Japanese-American Student Union of D.C. has hosted annual dance formals. Students have looked forward to these formals for a night of music, dancing, prizes, and most importantly, meeting students from other universities. We are grateful for Amnet, Inc. and Delta Airlines for sponsoring us with the grand prize (free round-trip airline tickets) in the last two formals.
JASU hosted the second annual“Moonlight Formal 2010” at Georgetown University’s Copley Hall. Over 250 students attended the dance. DJ Critical Mass joined us this year, mixing the best music throughout the night. The grand prize, provided by Amnet, Inc. and Delta Airlines, was a free, round-trip airline ticket to anywhere in the continental U.S., Alaska, Mexico, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean.
